About the Sunday School
1999-2000

A great preoccupation of our church is the care for the religious education of the youth of our community, and its participation at the Sunday's religious services of the church. In this respect, we have built a nice intimate holy Chapel, where Sunday English Services are held regularly between 10:00-11:00 am, the children are offered a Sunday brunch afterwards, and Classroom sessions are held between 11:30 am through 12:30 pm, in all three nicely decorated, repainted and newly recarpeted Sunday School rooms of the church.

Neither the clergy, however, nor the Sunday School Teacher's by themselves, and/or in cooperation with the Church's clergy, could alone fulfill this vocation of the church. It is therefore absolutely imperative the cooperation of all the parents and grandparents, who have children of age 4 and older, to enroll them and bring them to the Sunday School, on a regular basis, and make sure that they are on time.

Attached you'll find an explanatory prospect, giving details of our religious education program for this year. Please, read it and, if you have questions and/or suggestions, do not hesitate to call our office.
The official beginning of the Catechetical School Year was on Sunday, OCTOBER 03, 1999 - but we continue to accept applications throughout the year.

Remember to always bringing the children to Church - which is the Holy Place of God - we advise the parents to please dress them properly (girls in dresses and the boys in trousers, shirts and ties). No ear rings or improper hair-cut will be permitted for the boys. No improper vocabulary is permitted on the church grounds.

We recommend the parents to offer no food to children on Sunday morning (for children over 7 years of age) thus having them prepared for receiving the Holy Communion.

Please, complete the form printed below - Enrollment Form - a copy for each child - and send it ASAP to the church office to enroll your child/children to the 1999/2000 School Year. If you have any friends, who have children of age 4 years and older, please advise them to call our office and request an Enrollment Form for their child/children.
